Laura is a second-year MID Candidate majoring in Human Security at GSPIA. In addition to her role at the Johnson Institute, she is a student researcher part of the Gender Equality in Public Administration (GEPA) working group led by Dr. Muge Finkel and Dr. Melanie Hughes. During the spring of 2021 she was a student researcher in Professor Julia Santucci’s Gender-Based Violence Lab working group.
Laura majored in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics with minors in History and German Language at the University of Pittsburgh during her undergraduate career. She complete a summer-long internship in Berlin, Germany; and worked as a Peer Advisor and in the Student Mailroom at Pitt. She also wrote for the Pitt News, and was a part of Delta Phi Epsilon and Alpha Phi Omega.
Upon graduation, Laura would be interested in working for the UNDP.
